Do you think having one “passing” instead of a letter grade on my final transcript will look bad? By doing so, my GPA can be higher, but I do not know if they would rather see actual letter grades.
Do you guys think admissions will tell us how many spots they have available to take people off of the waitlist?
I have a 3.65 GPA from a highly competitive 4-year college. I had a 4.2 W in high school with a 1400 on the SAT. Do you think it’s possible to get off the wait list? I’m in state.
Hi! got off waitlist a few days ago - forgot to post here.
Mcintire school of commerce just fyi
dont worry guys, its all gonna be OK! <3

@valovers - i got both - i got an email saying there was an update on my portal and another email CG ing me from the mcintire school
Congratulations! Did you send in your final transcript, just out of curiousity?
Also, is anyone on the WL for CAS heard back yet?
I’m on the CAS waitlist and haven’t heard back yet; I also haven’t sent in my final transcript. I noticed that last year UVA decided to close the CAS waitlist on June 5th. I was just wondering why you think they decided to close it that late, when they had the enrollment numbers by May 15th. Do you think they expected students who gave deposits to drop out in that time frame? Attached is the link to last year’s blog post: http://uvatransferadmission.blogspot.com/2019/06/wait-list-update.html
On Vanderbilt and UVA’s waitlist. Hopefully things workout, but I know it’s hard to get off of waitlists.
In 2018 the wait list went all the way into early July. I think it’s based on how many transfers accept.
I sent in my final transcript. Luckily I did very well this semester, I made the Dean’s list!
The waitlist is going to be tricky this year, many schools are pulling more people off because a lot of students (this is nationwide) are taking gap years/dropping out because of the financial impacts of COVID. Best of luck to everyone!
@CM7850 - no i did not send in anything but i got a request to do a language test. that was about it… im just waiting for my financial aid and that will determine if i go or not. i got into another program in california so thats gonnna be a big sway.
best of luck to ya
Has anyone gotten off of the cas waitlist?
. nope.
Nope. Everyone on the transfer blog says they haven’t heard anything back either.
When are they going to notify us about transfer decisions
I read on the blog that it could be a week from now. There was a high yield this year, so not many spots will be open.
has anyone been accepted off the waitlist yet?
