People who have been admitted in past waves have reported that they got the email a few hours after my status updates.
My daughter has heard from 7 schools and they all came out in the portal first. The email was then updated hours to days later. It makes sense if you think about it because the update in the portal takes time, and then that probably auto-triggers the email to go out…which also takes time to go out of their busy/overloaded servers.
I can’t believe the night has finally come!!! Been thinking about this for YEARS!
I have not received any emails all day. Now that UT says they’re going to release, my phone is vibrating like crazy. Too bad none of them are UT 
Do honors decisions come out today as well?
MyStatus was just updated for me without any email notification. (I got denied for CS )
So keep checking your MyStatus as it’ll appear there first.
The tweets I just read made it sound like ALL freshman decisions are coming out: majors, acceptance, rejections, etc. They did not specifically mention honors…but I would assume so. They were very specific about “ALL” freshman decisions.

My daughter did not get in (Business). OOS (they only let in about 250 OOS to business). She has 3.7 uw/4.1 w. 32 ACT and TONS of EC (leadership/sports/volunteer work/business internship).

@qzqzqzqzqz I am a Junior also from OOS, however I plan to apply to sports management, and that is much easier to get into, probably one of the easiest majors. My friend wants to apply to finance though. You said they only let in 250 OOS to business, do you know how many OOS applied to McCombs?
I got offered CAP. I’m not too heartbroken. I’m going to appeal to be considered a transfer student because I will have 70 credits by the end of this semester. I’m more confident that I will gain admissions that way. Goodluck, all!
