If I remember correctly, your admissions decision is decided first before they consider whether or not to admit you to your LEP of choice. So your application to the business school shouldn’t affect your chances of admission. However, you could be admitted and then placed in Letters & Sciences (which is like undecided) to prepare for admission to the business school. That’s how I understand it…
ok. Also, does the university consider the 45 credits that my prior institution has given me or do they use their own course equivalents to make that decision. Currently, it says I have enough credits at my school but I dont know if all of the credits will transfer.
They have their own requirements for admission into the business school, but those requirements can be fulfilled by transfer credit. So if you have taken the equivalent of the courses they require for admission into the business school, than they will likely directly admit you (if I understand correctly)
I was wondering if someone would chance me at getting in. I am a freshman in a community college with 32 credits and a 4.0 GPA applying to transfer to computer science. Thank you.

Hello! I am anxious waiting for my college park decision! It is killing me. Can someone please chance me? I attend a Maryland community college, I have a 3.4 GPA, and an honors student in an honors cohort at my community college. I was recently nominated as a Newman fellow as well. I have 4 strong recommendation letters from the honors directors and one from my professor and I have completed all the requirements for my LEP major. I also only have A and B’s on my transcript. I also got accepted to the Shady Grove campus yesterday but I don’t know if that guarantees anything, Thank you! It is so nerve wracking having to wait.

Hi would someone mind chancing me? I have 20 credits with a 3.3 gpa at a four year university. Since I have less than 30 credits I had to apply with my high school information. I got a 26 on the ACT, a 4.1 weighted high school gpa.
My best guess is that the decision’s coming out next Friday- a week from today
Anyone think there’s a chance that they come out today? They came out the Friday before Easter last year, but I don’t think they’ve ever come out as early as April 10th before. Then again, no one has anything better to do than work these days so hopefully they can relieve us all and just send them out today!!!
