Actually, They releases decisions on April 24th in 2018 which was a Tuesday. We can never be too sure.

In-state CC student here. Figured I give the application a shot as a college freshman. My expectations are somewhat Iow given I was denied admission applying as a high school senior last year. Looking to major in Econ.
My stats for future reference:
-HS GPA: 3.41 UW; 4.0 W
-College GPA: 3.41 (with 17 credits, 16 in progress)
-25 on ACT (after Superscore)
-1120 on SAT
-Math credit completed, English in progress (worried that would hurt my application).
-Solid letter of recommendation from one of my professors
-Some extracurriculars and volunteer experience in high school.
I called the Admissions office near closing time yesterday to make sure my application materials were submitted before the priority deadline (all good). I also happened to ask them about the ETA of the decisions and was told to expect them by the end of this month.
It’s good that they’re coming out this month, but idk if I can wait 2 more weeks for this decision ?
They said by the end of the month which means it could come out sooner than the end of the month. My bet is it will come out next week. My guess is based on past release dates, but who knows! It’ll come out eventually, and the wait will be over before you know it.
That’s true. I was thinking it might come out this Friday based on last year’s release date, but I’m not sure
Hi, current freshman chemistry major at the University of Vermont here. I’m looking into transferring into UMD.

College GPA- 3.77
SAT/ACT- 1340 and 29
HS GPA- 4.3
Really hoping these decisions come out soon, I’m definitely getting anxious.

I applied for transfer by the march 1st deadline and I am so ready to hear back. I went online searching for prior decision dates and came across this forum. I applied with 48 credits + 12 pending with a 3.65gpa.
I hope I get in because I am planning on living on campus and am ready to sign a lease. Do you think we will hear back this Friday??

Hi @umdtransfer I would say you have a pretty good chance because you have a good gpa and you also applied before the priority deadline. Are you in state or out of state? WHEN we are accepted (??), do transfer students get on campus accommodation? I’ve heard it can be pretty tough in securing one so, I’m looking at signing a lease at the Mazza GrandMarc apartments cause that is the cheapest option available for on campus.
*off campus. I think the earliest possible date the decisions would be released is this Friday and latest possible next week Friday. Fingers crossed it’s this week, getting a decision from the shady grove campus before the main campus cause my anxiety to sky rocket.
