I get nervous too! They’ve never revealed the precise date. They say the same ‘before or by the end of April’ every year. However, looking at other threads, I noticed that when they said the decision would be released this week or next week, it was typically the first option. So let’s hope it’s tomorrow because I’m tired of not knowing.

Everyone, let’s chill out a bit. If they come out tomorrow they come out, if not no worries, you’ll get a decision eventually no need to freak out here.

@RBevan Yeah I think you’re right cause I was looking at the UMD subreddit and people from the past years said the decisions usually come out on a Friday at 5pm after the admissions office closes for the weekend, so that they don’t get bombarded with calls from people who didn’t get accepted. I also saw that sometimes the decisions come out in waves, like the people who applied really early get a decision one week and the rest of the early action get their decisions the next week.

I’m gonna guess that the decisions are probably gonna come out next week, last year the first wave of decisions came out April 19th (Friday) at 5pm, and this year I’d assume they’re gonna release them a little later rather than earlier cause of the whole corona thing. I could be wrong though!
I wish they could just give us something… I cant stop thinking about admission. It would just be helpful if they told us they were coming out next week so we don’t have to wait today

Hello! I just checked coalition and my acceptance letter for the shady grove campus isn’t there anymore. I think the decisions might be released today!!!

I saw something about that in a previous thread because the decision letter from shady grove would be replaced with the college park decision. The letter was there yesterday and it was removed today
I honestly don’t know if there’s a correlation but that would be my best assumption
