@umdtransfer I don’t think you have to accept the offer by May 1st, I applied to PSU as well and was told that is only the deadline for freshmen.
I am actually waiting for a decision from a school that doesn’t come out until mid-May! Which sucks but after this decision there will be more waiting for me

I applied to GW and Goucher as well, Goucher as a safety, UMD as a match (hopefully ?), GW as a reach
I’m only trying for UMD. I was really unhappy at my school and UMD fits all my needs. I also applied to Towson, but I really really want UMD

@haleynap Oh okay! Well I will look into that, I thought I would have had to accept by May 1st. And I applied to Towson, PSU, and UMD. UMD is my top choice since it is in state for me.
If they don’t come out Friday I am gonna be so disappointed but honestly I shouldn’t be because I think the latest they have ever been out is the 22nd so. Who knows, maybe because of everything we will fall into that late category.
Yeah I’m not sure. At least the 22nd is only 6 days away anyway, so we won’t be waiting too much longer even if that’s true

Ok so I just called and asked if we could expect something this week and they said “anytime between this week and next week” so basically the exact same thing they’ve told everyone else but different wording lol

Haha my user is 2ndtimetrying because this is potentially my second time transferring schools. I couldn’t think of another username. This is my first time applying to UMD

@RBevan same! I know we’ve all been calling or trying to communicate with them about a date, but if they knew do you think they’d even tell us? Does anyone know if they have in the past?
