FARENHEIT 451 is going to be a movie!!

Lmao, sorry it’s one of my favorite books of all time and I had to get that out. I’m so excited, but I think they’re going to butcher it, in which case I will be [I’ll do the <em>s myself] ***ed.

It already is a movie. And 1984 is better. ;)

They’re making a new one. I’ve never seen the old one, but I can’t imagine it being too good since they didn’t have technology described in the book back then, or the computers to simulate that technology. I’ve never been able to read 1984, but I will after AP testing is done, it’s like my goal.

The old one was actually excellent. The technology is not the focus of the book-it’s more about book burning & knowledge (451-temperature at which fire burns…)

I’m just the kind of person that focuses on the technology and how true a movie is to a book. The first one is a bad habit, I know.

That’s really exciting. I never saw the first one though either.
Yeah, 1984 is a must-read and since you loved Fahrenheit 451, you’ll almost definitely like it.
Wow, it took me a while to spell Fahrenheit correctly and I had to look it up on google. That is a tricksy word.

1984 is a movie?

Yes. It was released in 1984. It MAY be a German movie.

We watched the first one and everyone thought it was horrible. The new one should be pretty awesome with all the tech and such.

omg serious a movie? i mean newer one? that’s awesome…I saw the older movie first and loved it and read the book and it was so koo…can’t wait for the movie. thx for the update

I hope they don’t kill it…

yay =) =) =)

Scarlett Johansson must be Clarisse. I will boycott the film otherwise.

i totally agree with you Virgil! i love scarlett johansson! :)
