Sup guys, figured I’d lower the weird level in here by talking about something manly, aka the ballet of violence itself, pugilism!

Who is your favorite boxer?

My current favorite boxer is Vitali Klitschko because he is just so freaking dominant. He has destroyed Kevin Johnson, Sam Peter, Gomez, and Arreola in the past year. Doesn’t get a lot of credit either for being the best HW in the world along with his brother Wladimir. Either of those two, in a one on one fight with anyone living, would probably emerge the victors by knockout. That is a scary though, they are literally the best fighters to exist today.

I also really enjoy Carl Froch (very big heart), and Arthur Abraham (also amazing heart, had his jaw broken against Edison Miranda in I believe the 6th and went on to not only win but dominate the rest of the fight).

Historically I really like Arturo Gatti, Joe Calzaghe (the beatings he put on Bernard “aint no white boy ever gonna beat me” Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. were epic, was the best in his division for over a decade. GOAT in that division).

What about you?

I also currently love (who doesn’t) the Pacman. Wars with JMM, his destruction of Oscar de La Hoya (legend), Ricky Hatton, and most recently his one sided beatdown of Miguel Cotto give me hope that he can actually beat Pretty Boy Floyd.

Neopets, Mike Tyson is a good choice, but he crashed hard towards the end of his career. Watched a Ringside special on him the other day. When he was young and just getting knockout after consecutive knockout and hearing the way the commentators describe him getting progressively filled with superlatives was really interesting, he was really dangerous with that body hook, uppercut combo.

Lennox Lewis. Ugh…a great HW no doubt, but he annoyed me. He was getting beaten up by Vitali, ended up winning on cuts, and then promptly retired. He won’t give Vitali a rematch, or give his brother Wladimir a chance to avenge the loss. Pretty shameful of him.

Well that’s just because I know his family. I go to his brothers house on occasion and went up to his training camp in Big Bear when I was like 10.

He might me the most down to earth, nicest boxer ever.

SlayerS_Boxer > all
his marine micro-ing techniques are top level even by today’s standards. not to mention that he is the most famous professional starcraft player ever.

To “The Power of One” I hate to ruin your dreams (and probably the dreams of many other boxing fans) but the fight is off. It’s on Manny Pacquiao’s offical website, mannypacquiao.ph
It’s a shame too, boxing would become relevant to the sports world once again, but I wasn’t meant to be XD
