If anyone knows a dupe for the original Diorella from the 1980’s….they reissued it about ten years ago but its not the same….
L’eau de Chloe. It’s not easy to find where I shop usually and it’s so expensive now! I got mine years ago and don’t recall paying as much.
I also like Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia but not quite as much.
My favorite!
I like several of the Jo Malone scents. And I also really like Annick Goutal eau d’hadrien-I’ve been to that shop in Paris! When I was younger I wore Oscar de la Renta and Paco Rabanne. If I wear it now I like light scents and am very sparing with it.
Coco Mademoiselle and Hermès Le Jardin Sur Nil are my scents of choice.
I’m fairly sensitive to odors, scents, and smells myself, so i usually won’t wear any whe I’ll be particularly close to other people. Rose and gardenia scents, that nasty Obsession - instant headache
I am currently wearing Jo Malone’s Bluebell, and I also have Beach Blossom, I think. Other favorites, which I have been wearing on and off since I was 17 (!) are Prescriptives’ Calyx, and Calvin Klein Eternity. I also really love anything Hawaiian-smelling… when we go to Hawaii every few years I always return with some guava- or passionfruit-smelling potion.
My mom’s (RIP) favorite perfumes were, from long ago, Halston and Coriandre. Then she went through a Giorgio period in the ‘80s, followed by Lancome’s Tresor. I know that if I took a big whiff of any of these, she’d be right there ![]()
I’m more of a post shower body spray type of girl. I don’t even own an official perfume and haven’t for some time.
I have enjoyed the Fragonard products from France - shopping their in person store in Paris was a treat! They had a jasmine scent that has become difficult to get.
The smell of those soaps is a great way to relive vacation at home.
@evanescent471 , we have the same taste! I smell lovely scents on others, but few smell as good on me. Those don’t seem to get as cloying.
Yes, I have some and love using them!
