I wish we had “smellovision” or “google smell” so we could smell these scents at home!
Many scents fade or change with age, so it’s not uncommon to find an older or discontinued scent only to be disappointed. I suspect that’s why some end up in outlet stores…
I rarely wear anything, and asked patients to use sparingly in the office. My new cleaning lady was cleaning the perfume bottles, and asked name of one. YSL , too strong for me. I was happy to pass it on.
My DIL sends me more natural scents , from THistle, which are roll ones, and lavender. I still have my mother’s bottles of Chanel and shalimar. Opium was another of her favorites. All so strong! I do like Jo Maloney, cuz not too strong.
I still wear Charlie, Sweet Honesty, and Windsong (love Lauren, Giorgio, and White Shoulders, too). But, scents are not for me. As I’ve posted many times, I wear these vintage colognes because they take ChoatieDad back to…well, never mind.

On second thought, it’s high time I stop this nonsense.
