Finally!

So I just realized that I am never taking an ACT, SAT, or SATII test again. Love.

Congratulations :)

APs in the spring, -ghost noises-

No but those are fun

I loved that day so much when I realized that was true for me. Day the October SAT scores were released. So beautiful.

^And yeah, APs. But at least the don’t really matter. And I’m not taking mine if the college I’m going to won’t use them.

^Yeah, it’s why I might not take AP Lang, which would also just be an ass AP. Btw, long time no talk! How’ve you been?

I know! I’ve been pretty good–I feel bad now because you responded to all your birthday wall posts and I just totally forgot to respond. Still working on apps, ugh. You? I see you’ve applied to Reed early. Good luck!!

And btw, I think AP Lang is the easiest AP I’ve taken. I don’t know how you are at English (having only really heard you speak French, lol), but just knowing that you have an aptitude for languages tells me you’d probably do well.

That’s good; I’ve been swell as well. And it’s all good, I had so many wall posts it was hard to keep track haha. Ack, apps…Hopefully I won’t have to do any more supplements after December 15th…
I have indeed, and thank you! Where’s your number one?

Yeah it’s not hard…Just obnoxious. I like literary analysis, damn it. And I won this NCTE Essay contest junior year, and I get the grades, so I guess I am?

LOL, I kinda feel bad for owning this thread, but whatever.

I’m trying really hard to not have a number one, but it’s probably Yale. My next three are Swarthmore, Brown, and Pomona, and they’re basically on the same level.

Hah, yeah, I can’t really say, I never took the class since they don’t offer it at my school, just took the AP. What French are you doing this year?

Bah, 'sall good.

Yale, good choice. A lot of kids from my school get in there; 6 were accepted last year. Swarthmore’s on my list of RD schools, Brown used to be on my list, and Pomona is obvs on there too. Did you apply EA?

I’m in the French after AP French Lang (I phrase it like that because it’s numbered differently at my school). I’m pretty sure it’s the same as you though, right?

You guys are fine, I was just expressing relief; the thread is yours.

^ME TOO.

Screw APs I don’t even care anymore after 1st semester ends. For real.

We got three in last year–not too bad for a class size of 70. I didn’t do EA, part laziness, part getting news at the same times I was studying for exams would have sucked, part it doesn’t actually increase my chances, part doing my app in a shorter amount of time would have made it worse.

Yeah, my school’s like that too; I really meant to ask what you were doing in French. My class is a lit course, so we’ve read some Rousseau, Beaumarchais, and a little modern stuff.

Next up, GREs, grad school applications, career searches, and hopefully some job interviews! It just never ends.
