<p>i am a finance major at lmu. for the 2010-11 school year i was eligible for a cal grant and a pell grant, however i was unable get another pell grant for this year (2011-12). i contacted the financial aid office at my school and was notified that i did not recieve the pell grant because my efc was too high. This apparently was caused by an error made on the 2010-11 fasfa forms. The error has been fixed.</p>
<p>my questions are:</p>
<p>what is an average efc level to recieve a pell grant? </p>
<p>and how likely is it to get an “institutional grant” from my school after the fact?</p>
<p>i know my initial post is vague, but i would be happy to clarify anything that would lead to my questions being answered.</p>
