I have already deposited for Rutgers University because they offered me a full scholarship. However, I really want to attend University of Virginia, but I will not be able to do so unless I receive more financial aid. I am appealing for more financial aid, but I was informed that appeals are not considered until June or August. Is it okay if I deposit to UVA, but withdraw if I do not receive more aid?

hey amg1991, I read on the uva blogs that you should never double deposit for any school because you are limiting the chances of someone on the waiting list. However, i do believe this is a different situation, so i say go for it. By the way what part of jersey are you from. I’m from west new york, hudson county. I applied to rutgers cuz thats everyones safety at my school. I still think its an amazing school with parties that will never bore you. well, good luk anyways.

You should ask the admission office before you double deposit. I was under the impression that you should never double deposit and that there are severe consequences if you get caught. I would be careful before listening to xxxk2y
