Financial Assisstance for the sophomore , jounier, and senior years !

Hi everybody,

Okay ; I am an International Student from Sudan . My scores are
TOEFL : 580
SAT : CR 450 , Math 700 , Writing 480 ( 8 on the essay )
I found some schools that offered me out-of-state tuition Waiver plus some additional scholarships like

Jackson State University
University of Louisiana at Monroe
St.Joseph College at New York
Eastern Michi State
University of Louisiana at Lafayatte

and I am seriously considering the best aid schools because I can’t afford more the $8K a year. I may get to one of these schools because that I have been up to after super-exhausting search .

The problem is that : I am still worried about financing the years after the freshman year . How can I manage to get more scholarships ? Do you know other Schools that can help me get better financial aid opportunities ? When can I get an internship and how helpful is that ? Will getting impressive grades during my education help me get full ride after the first year ?
Please Reply soon because I am running out of time.

And noteworthy, I was the valedictorian of my entire country , I got 98.3%
This maybe helpful !

You need to ask each of these universities whether you could be eligible for increased amounts of aid in future years. There might be scholarships that are only open to continuing students.

You also need to ask each of them whether or not international students are eligible for help with internships, and how much money those students manage to earn. You can make some money during your OPT and CPT so ask the International Students Office at each university about that.

Thanks,
Sorry but what are CPT and OPT ?

Curricular Practical Training and Optional Practical Training. They are limited work permits for F-1 and J-1 students.
