<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I would like to know if any one has engaged professional educational consultants like College Planning Network/Heartland Institute of Financial Education([Heartland</a> Institute of Financial Education - Improving America’s Financial Literacy through workplace education. Headquartered in Aurora, CO. Instructors nationwide.](<a href=“http://www.hife-usa.org/]Heartland”>http://www.hife-usa.org/)).</p>
<p>I am overwhelmed with multiple tasks of researching the colleges, applying for Scholarships/Loans for my child who is in 11th grade, wondering should I engage either of the the above mentioned.</p>
<p>Thanks

Aren’t those really jobs for your child? Also the vast majority of useful four year scholarships are available through the college. There are good resources in the financial aid forum on this site to help you.</p>
<p>Search for previous postings on College Confidential and your will find out about companies like those.
It can seem overwhelming, but by looking here, you will be fine.</p>
SCAM
Never pay for financial aid assistance and scholarship assistance.
This was the worst investment my parents made on me.
Not worth your money.
Information given is infomation that any highschool student serious about college would already know about.
Use College Confidential and Google for FREE ‘college admission help’, ‘scholarship assistance’, and ‘financial aid assistance’.
Find free help online.
I wrote this review on their facebook page, but it got hidden.
I hope this review will prevent families from getting scammed by them.
From the linked web site:
“Additionally, we help the student create a personal resume that will aid them in competing for valuable student loans, awards, grants and other forms of assistance that may help offset college education costs.”
What valuable students loans require a personal resume? So you are overwhelmed with applying for these loans for your 11th grade child?
Please don’t post to old threads. The OP is long gone.
