I will be a senior taking the SAT for the first time this October.
Does anyone know if this is a bad thing to do? Will colleges (specifically UC’s) receive my score in time? Will I be able to retake if needed? Will this in any way hinder my admissions process
Yes, they will receive your score in time but you are leaving it to the last minute, especially as a first time taker. UC’s will accept up to the December test date, so you can retake in Nov/Dec if not happy wiht the October score but it does not give you much time to work any problem areas. Study hard over the summer and maybe it will be your first and last time in taking the SAT. Good Luck.
