I just took the SAT online as a practice exam with little preparation beforehand, and I scored a 1290 overall. Is this a good score for a rising junior who has taken it for the first time? I got 600 in Math and 690 for Reading/Writing. This is my base score to improve on throughout my junior year.
Look at the SAT scores of your target colleges and see where you’re at (top 25%, middle 50%, or bottom 25%?). That will tell you if your SAT score is of any good or not.
@pinklinks Some of the colleges I’m looking at are high-reaches for everyone. So even with a high score, it’s not certain that I’ll get in.
