Waitlisted - letter was dated March 28
Its funny because on the FIT website with the application deadlines, it says that April-May 2016 is when the decisions will be mailed. So does that mean people who haven’t gotten their decision may have to wait until almost May? I thought that all of the decisions were supposed to be made by April 1st.
@fitloveya I hope so! If I don’t get pulled up from the waitlist then I’m going to reapply for the spring.
@Bft9280 yeah I’m going to go to community college for a semester and hopefully transfer in the spring for FIT
They haven’t looked at my app yet and said I should know sometime next week. Hopefully they’re telling me the right info bc by this point they prob don’t care hahah

@annafarrell I think its totally unfair that they haven’t reviewed everyones app but they are sending out letters, its foolish.
I’m a transfer student, but I didn’t fill out my FAFSA again or do anything with financial aid. But when I called a few months ago the lady told me that they had everything they needed for my app. Is it possible that my application didn’t go through since I didn’t fill out my fafsa again? I still haven’t heard anything
@fashionmegan Without filing out the fasfa you just wont have priority financial aid it shouldn’t correspond to your application for the school
Do you guys think FIT sent letters based on region? That’s weired I’m live in manhattan but still waiting for hear back

i’m a transfer student and I’m dying to get it. I called on Thursday and they said that my app is being reviewed.My major is photography and I’m getting my associates at my community college. It sucks when you go on tumblr or instagram and everyone are holding their fit packets and you’re just their waiting like sirius black. I just feel like yelling “I did my waiting! 2 weeks of it . . . near my mail box!” I just want to know! Sorry i just needed to share out my feelings.

@ktnyc17 Honestly, the housing email has nothing to do with acceptances! Especially because some people’s applications haven’t been reviewed yet. So stay positive <3
i am an international student and still waiting on my letter. guess FBM is filled up so i will just have to re-apply in spring… how do you guys find out who got accepted via instagram? that really interesting!
why cant FIT just email us and give us decisions? my entire life is on hold right now because of the descision. and its really not a good feeling…ughhhhhh
I’m a transfer student and I applied for FBM I called a couple days ago and they still have not reviewed my application yet. I had everything in by the deadlines and I’m just so frustrated and confused at people who are receiving feedback when they sent in applications after the deadline. People are also saying that FBM is full but how can it be full if they have not reviewed all the applications? Are there any other transfer applicants in the same boat?!
Hi…so my daughter received her letter on Friday, dated 3/28- and was wait listed for FBM. Does anyone know how long you can potentially wait to hear anything? FIT has been her dream for at least 3 years, and with a deadline to commit by May 1st to a college…she doesn’t know what to do. Sorry, I’m just so heartbroken for her, I’m trying to find answers.
