FitBit Charge HR Wearers/Owners - question about size

Sorry to start another thread about FitBits!

But am planning on ordering the Charge HR in the next day or so. Trying to decide between the small and the large. The one thing on me that is small is my wrist - my wrist measures at about 6 inches around and a measure of my current watch is that is is 6.25 inches in length. I don’t want the Charge to be tight, but not super bouncy loose either. Fairly stable.

The dimensions listed show the small to fit 5.5-6.5, the large 6.3 - 7.6.

Isn’t anything ever simple and easy!!!

Appreciate any thoughts.

Just measured. My FitBit charge is a small. My wrist is 6" almost exactly, and the band has three “stops” left and it fits perfectly. Sometimes I feel like it’s too loose and tighten it a notch, but within the hour decide it’s too tight! I’ve had it about 9 months and am happy with the small.

Get the small. It is quite adjustable. I have the Charge (not HR). I expect with the HR you are going to have it snug on your wrist so it can sense the HR. that’s how my Mio works.

If the ChargeHR is too tight, it doesn’t work as well, which is counterintuitive, but there you are. It also is meant to sit two fingers’ width up your wrist; higher than a typical watch would be.

Love you guys! Thanks for the advice - small it is I think - it can be returned if necessary.

I was exactly on the border between the small and large according to their specifications on how to measure your wrist. When on the border, they recommend going up a size, which is what I did.

I think I measured 6.25" around my wrist, so I went with the large. The way I wear it, there are only two more holes left to make it smaller. So I have much more of a ‘tail’ of excess band, but it fits two finger widths above the wrist bone as they say. Yes, @greenbutton is correct - it’s counterintuitive to what you’d think you need to register your HR, but you don’t want it really tight.

I wear my regular watch a couple inches above my wristbone. I think I’ll still try the small. Don’t anticipate growing wrists!!!

My wrist is also 6 1/4"’ and I have a small. I have two holes left to make it smaller. In hot weather it "sticks’ about 2 inches above my wrist bone but when it’s cool and dry it slides up and down alittle depending on my movements.
