I haven’t heard of it, but our local JCC seems to be the only business with one. That would be awesome, if you didn’t have to have DEXA scan or a hydrostatic test in order to get those test results.
Just an update, last Monday, I repeated “24.2” (300m row, 10 deadlifts and jumping rope), 20-minute AMRAP, and slightly improved my score by getting midway through the 8th round (finished deadlifts, no jump rope). In my first attempt, I only completed 7 rounds.
Today, I attacked “24.3,” the last open workout. This was a workout right up my alley. Not to bore you with all the details of the workout, essentially 85 thrusters (increased barbell weight in 2nd round) and two types of pull-ups totaling 85 of those. One minute required rest.
There were 10 rounds with a maximum of 15 minutes to complete. And this one I kicked some derrière. All done in the allotted time. I look forward to doing this one again.
Otherwise, getting through my week’s workouts and getting my running in. Yesterday I did a treadmill 10K, since it was windy and I didn’t want to run in traffic.
Yesterday, we had a kid on a bike get hit going to school. So, I try to avoid running outside during commute hours.
