I’m glad he got the handrail up and I’m sure he knows the interest and drives of folks were beyond your or anyone’s control. I’m dilute the putty will be handled and am glad for safety’s sake the railing was up.
I look forward to reading that you’re being flooded with great offers! It sounds like you have some serious viewers, especially the folks that came with their agent and returned with their kids!
I looked at the listing photos. Wow. I would be putting in an all cash offer if I could. Fantastic! Even the mesh kitchen uppers that we all worried about look like a million dollars.
I have that offer for property over in the Loma Portal area but I haven’t even had a chance to go look at it yet. I cannot even make an offer on a property until I have some cash in hand. It doesn’t even do any good to look at anything until I can make a strong, solid, honest offer.
After all the agony about the dumbwaiter it is a huge hit also. However, it got broken when we were installing the Soapstone on top deck. It will go up but we cannot get it to travel back down. We have spent hours trouble shooting and we cannot get it fixed. So, I have no choice but to call the manufacturer and pay for an expensive technician to come out and fix it
Drat! I was going to come down to have a look-see myself! Got to shopping and completely forgot… Hopefully you won’t need to have another open house but, if so, I’ll be there!
@sdgal2 Same here! I’m up in LA and was thinking of driving down as my S lives in San Diego was having a small holiday gathering today so I would have been able to stop by the open house on my way to his place. Unfortunately, another commitment prevented that. Next time!
It’s stunning @coralbrook - I hope the offers start rolling in quickly
Any time that anyone wants to come see the house (and I personally think it is even more interesting than the photos, but that might be silly owner pride) just drop on by because someone is always here 8am to 4pm for another week or so.
Wish I could, wish I were in the market.
We started looking when my folks moved near you, but market got far too hot.
Thank you for sharing your journey.
Hoping for the best for this gorgeous property and your next one!
Our neighbors told all interested folks at the open house that all bids would be opened on x date at y time. The parties scrambled to get their bids together and in by the deadline. The all cash, no contingency offer was accepted, tho it was slightly lower than another one.
