Bank appraiser is already scheduled for visit tomorrow.
Termite inspection on Monday next week. Crossing my fingers that I can dodge an expensive fumigation. During our detailed inspection of attic, basement and crawlspace we do not even see one dot of termite poop or termite damage.
Believe it or not I still cannot decide. I purchased a few more. I have decided to lay out several choices next Thursday and let buyer decide. Then we will install
There were a lot of breadcrumbs along the way then some fairly clear signposts to narrow it down. Anyone who takes the time to go through the applicable posts should be able to come up with a strong candidate.
Which probably means we’ve been given too much info…
Not really; there’s been no personally identifiable info, so far as I could see. (Of course, if the sale goes thru the identity of the buyer is a matter of public record, but I doubt that anyone cares about the specific identity).
Knock on wood… I want to report that we had only one minor injury throughout the 10 month process. After months of hanging off rafters 3 stories high, gunning in about 2000 nails, raising extremely heavy beams, lath and stucco up 3 stories, 5 days of guys on a very steep roof, etc. we had one stupid little injury.
Made it through all that and one of the guys was trying to help my agent hang a mirror over a bed during staging. Somehow the wire behind the mirror poked through his finger and he needed a band aid. We laugh about it still… he hurts himself hanging a mirror
Another guy scraped his head crawling somewhere and had a little abrasion.
I loaded up some photos of the cabinet handles I am still considering for master bathroom vanity. I need to go out and get some more choices. I am going to let the buyer select their favorite from the choices.
In my opinion, the only one of those choices that works is the one you call “brushed nickel handle.” And it is fine. I would just install that and be done with it. I don’t think you want to get fussy with the hardware in there; already a lot going on. Simple is best.
I’m not much into design (which is why I mostly lurk), but I too like the one on the right (in your last uploaded photo). It’s is simple and looks nice.
I am not in love with any of the choices. I thought I’d like the black, but too much contrast. Also voting forr brushed nickel… or whatever the buyer likes.
Or why can’t you use what you used in the kitchen? The cabinets are similar, aren’t they? I doubt very much that the buyer wants to make this decision.
Any of them are fine–install them and move on. The buyer likely won’t even notice as long as there is SOME handle! There’s a lot of other stuff you need to do and the next project to start.
