untitled, wouldn’t caltech be the more natural fit as MIT, rather then Cal? I stick by Cal being Harvard.

If Duke were northeast of Portola Valley, it would be Stanford.

crash - Goucher would be Wheaton (MA)? Really just a guess as I haven’t visited either, but judging by the types of kids from around here who apply to those two.

I agree with achat. Pomona is more Swarthmore than Amherst.

Wake Forest = Tufts…really? Tufts is that conservative and homogeneous?

Tulane = NYU ? Nahhhh…almost nothing in common. Students, atmosphere, campuses = completely different unless you’re thinking of the party factor. Both have a high, ready-to-party factor.

“Wake Forest = Tufts…really? Tufts is that conservative and homogeneous?”"

I think so…but Wake is MUCH more sports oriented…the world there seemed to revolve around the sports activities…not so at Tufts.

Hmm. I don’t get that Tufts is that conservative or homogenous. Any recent Jumbos around to weigh in?
