For those who are Lifeguards

Is there lots of kids with lifeguard certification at your school?

yeahh, no joke, I can name 20-30 easy, and that’s people who openly flaunt it

I was going to do this. Is this a fun job? I’m not a big fan of helping people (I quit working at American Eagle), but guarding/saving another person’s life is different. Is it a good job?

And you have to get certified through the Red Cross, right?

in my school there are only like 10 juniors that I know of. But it is still a good liscence to have. Ill admit the pool that I worked for is very shallow so the only “saving” I do is tell people not to run, throw stuff, etc. I only really helped a kid is a little danger once. So for me I usually just talk with the other lifeguard with me. so i would say if you are physically fit to get the liscence go for it!
