<p>I don’t know how accurate this is. UVA is ranked 36 overall on this, and Emory is 46, Harvard at 6, Williams at 2.</p>

<p>US News has UVA at 23 or 25, Harvard at 1, etc.</p>

<p>The methodology is different for the Forbes and USNews rankings.</p>

<p>The Forbes ranking doesn’t separate LACs from research universities, as USNews does. So UVA ranks lower because many of the top LACs (Williams, Amherst) with which it usually is not compared ranked higher. I notice that the military academies are also highly ranked by Forbes - I don’t remember where USNews ranked them, or how they’re categorized.</p>
