Fordham University Early Action Decisions Fall 2024

The only aid I’ve heard of Fordham giving is always continued through the four years.

Congrats!! Was this a separate letter from the admissions acceptance letter or part of the same?

Do you mind sharing the estimated cost of attendance for 24-25?

Congratulations! Did you find out about the GBH program with the admission notification? If you don’t mind could you share their stats and ECs etc.?

The GBH and scholarship were part of the admission letter. Sorry that we have to reject the offer, he was offered in NYU stern for ED.

Huge congratulations to him! We applied RD to there.

This was a separate letter/link that is accessible from the admission portal.

That’s so disappointing to hear. I’m a National Recognition Hispanic Scholar w/ a 35 ACT 3.94 unweighted GPA, nationally ranked high school, lots of ECs and strong leadership, and multiple ‘hooks’. I was really hoping that Fordham would be affordable and I’d have a shot at attending.

I wouldn’t give up all hope. They’re going to continue giving out aid (merit or need) until Feb? I heard that some people got generous offers a couple of months after the acceptance letter.

There is a Hispanic award scholarship they have on their website, call admissions the Tuesday after new year’s and request consideration for it. Don’t give up.

I have heard of several applicants getting one award with admissions but then getting a larger award later on. Have you received an award letter? Based on your stats I would expect that you would get a sizable award. Sometimes the award letters go out a few weeks after admissions.

No, I haven’t received anything.

Did anyone else receive an email today saying their financial aid package is available? When we click on the link, it just spins and says it can’t open.

Same thing here

My daughter received that email too, but unable to access anything. I have to double check with her, but I’m not sure if she ever set up her FA account for Fordham. I wish everything was housed in one placed!

I tried logging in to our Fordham financial aid portal, but that didn’t help. So I just emailed my son’s admissions officer at Fordham. Will report back here if I get any help/direction.
