I think this has been the day people received EA decisions in the last couple of years- Thursday mid December. It’s either today or next Thursday. What do you think?

Have they ever sent notifications ahead of the decision release?
Looking at this thread from last year it was 12/14 and then 12/15 in 2022.

Hi! Im my application portal the change your major/ college option showed again. A rather bad sign, probably a rejection. Good luck to all!!
Same for me. I won’t worry about it too much. Probably they are getting ready to release decisions and these are system glitches.

D25 accepted to Gabelli Business. So happy. Any idea if Merit Scholarships are released alongside the acceptance?

Congrats! S25 accepted to Gabelli as well. There was not merit mentioned in the letter, but it states that financial aid offers will go out starting January 17.

We won’t qualify for need based financial aid.
Not sure if merit aid is also communicated at that time itself. Some merit aid will make this otherwise expensive school a bit affordable

Don’t worry, we were mentally prepared for a deferral, but confident that we’d eventually get through. I know it’s hard, but just stay patient, you will get in!
Seems like they are including merit aid under the general “financial aid” category, and it specifically states here that “Fordham requires the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to disburse all types of aid, including merit-based scholarships.”

S25 is in at Rose Hill (1510 SAT, 3.98/4.41, 9 APs). Letter says he is offered 4 years of on-campus housing but no mention of merit or honors program. He is NMSF so we were hoping for that scholarship, but it sounds like those scholarships and the Dean’s scholarships are announced alongside admissions decisions, so I guess he didn’t get either. A little surprised that he got no merit at all.

Son heard today. Accepted to Gabelli. 4 years housing guaranteed. No merit in this announcement but messaging stating that will come out in January.

My daughter’s letter also mentioned 4-years of campus housing. Does everyone get this, or is it only offered to certain students?
