"Joran van der Sloot, 22, is suspected of murdering Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, in Peru. Ramirez’s body was found with multiple stab wounds on May 26.

According to Ramirez’s friends, the 21-year-old was reportedly last seen leaving a Lima, Peru, casino with van der Sloot at 5:16 a.m. local time."

“Authorities reportedly found Ramirez’s body in van der Sloot’s Lima hotel room.”

The article mentioned he had left the country. Assuming he is charged by Peruvian authorities, is there an extradition agreement between the Dutch government and Peru, or is he off the hook because he got away?

Last month, Natalee Holloway would have been graduating from Bama as a pre-med student in biology if she had been allowed to fulfill her dreams.

I think about her every year at this time.

I’m not surprised that Joran would murder again. He’s already crossed that “boundary” without any consequences.

Hopefully, Aruba will force him to return to Peru to face the charges.

What a monster. I don’t like to be a drama queen, but does anyone but me wonder if there might even be more young women? This is deeply disturbing.

"There is “incriminating evidence” linking Van der Sloot to the killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found dead in a Lima hotel room Wednesday, Cesar Guardia Vasquez, of the criminal investigations unit said at a news conference.

The hotel room where Flores was found was registered in Van der Sloot’s name, he said.

A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said."

He’s not in Aruba and as far as I understood, had left there long ago. The most recent articles say they don’t know for sure where he is at present, though there is speculation he is on his way to Argentina.

Of course, I agree that he should be held accountable for his actions if he has committed murder.

^^^^^I agree. I just hope that wherever he is caught, there is some kind of extradition policy present. Sometimes countries don’t have those and don’t want to get involved.

“Ricardo Flores said that police found his daughter’s car about 50 blocks from the hotel, and that inside, they found pills like those used in date rape cases.
Similar to the Holloway case, van der Sloot allegedly met at a night spot, in this case, a casino. Ricardo Flores said he did not believe that his daughter knew the Dutch citizen from before.
Both of them speak English, and at the casino they struck up conversation, he said.”

EERILY SIMILAR TO THE “ALLEGED” ARUBA SCENARIO.
