Fortune Teller?

So I went down with my sister to see a famed fortune teller in Bedok. He was in his monk robes, with a piece of red cloak/cloth slinging over this left shoulder. He was bald, obviously, small eyes, a little aged and had a huge glasses resting low on his nose.

For my sister, he said stuff about her strong personality, blah business, beware this that…blah, stars signs, this year good for plannin, blah… and it was mostly really accurate. Finally, it was my turn. I place my both palms on this raised cushioned platform on his table. He took out a magnifying glass and begin examing the lines on my palm while making marks with a pen. Then he looks up to me and says: ‘What do you want to know?’ Immediately, I shot back:’ I’m going overseas to study. Will I be able to achieve good results? How’s my jobs prospects after graduation.’

He marks a few more lines, ‘You will have a lot of difficultly doing well because you cannot focus. If you cannot get your focus right, you will fail. [duh!] Your next few years you just need to concentrate and study.’

Just before I left, he gave me a ridiculously childish smile, 'You beware of girls. They cause you lose focus. ’ He pats my hands and says, ‘Remember, study hard. Must focus.’

So what the hell?

what the hell … if u think any1 wud believe such predictions or stuff then whoaa… i mean had the future been in any association with the so called heavenly palm lines then the world wud have been simply a prescripted dramastage which its not…

ur astrologer said sumthing so damn general as like loosing focus , failing and gurldivertion… very generl statement here so nothing actually serious in his dialogues also…

also i am the last person to ever believe such proprositions…

SM

are u takin da **** here? i mean how CAN u belevie in stuff as ridculous as fortune tellers. one advice, do not mention these kinda things in ur college essays, they wont help you.

hahaha good story
but its a uhm fortune teller
good advice though…
dont lose focus… concentrate and study
i think if you paid for that fortune teller you wasted some money
anyone random person could have told you that

i dont know about the fortune -teller… but well about the girls I think he was right on target :)

Hm…it was a red packet and you could put nothing if you wish.

I know it’s pretty general. But he didnt tell that to my sister whom is younger than me and still in high school. He told her it’d be a great year for her to start a business in 2007. He didnt say conc or anything… just said ‘go to school’.

& he couldnt possiby know that my Achilles’ heal is hot girls.

& there was a queue…like 7 to 8 people, mostly guys in suits & girls in casual wear. I waited for about 1.5 hours.

I never believe what fortunetellers say, although i do enjoy hearing what they have to so that i could make fun of him/her later.:P

My parents went to a fortune teller. My dad doesnt belive in that stuff but my mum… let’s just say that she’s open to different kinds of opinions…

Anyway, the ft said:
-I was going to be successful in whatever because I’ve got good morals, strong determination, etc… But if I give up a tiny bit, I’ll end up failing everything i’ve been striving for… Therefore, a very likely chance that I’ll get into any school I want (??? ok whatever). She also said that I’m going to be extremely successful because I there’s only a little chance that I will ‘give up’. (yay).

-ft said that the 2nd child is passive. She also has strong determination like her sister but tribulations will always be in the way. May be successful but older sibling will be much more successful. 2nd child will live in the shadow of older sis. (this sounds more like a psychiatric analysis of the order of the children)

-ft said… (this is realy funny)…3rd child will run away from home at the age of 16. Strong determination but will not have good morals in the future. (the 3rd child is friggin 7years old right now!!!)

I hope the ft is right about me!

A fortune teller told that I would get into Harvard. hehe:D

A fortune teller once told me that I would get pregnant at 18…and I’m 18 now so I’m watching out for all boys

A fortune teller told me I would not go abroad and aty at home serving my mom…and guess what? I’m boarding lufthansa next month on a one-way ticket to the US of A.
