I’m taking ART 214 and had to describe the interpretation behind this picture. What I can say, that guy would be in a deep need for some psychological help if not for the fact that he is dead.

but isn’t that what eating a son would look like, really? a frenzied, insane act as portrayed by Goya, rather than a more dignified meal, as Rubens’ suggests?</p>
