<p>Everyone has a pair of Nike Frees now. At school. At 5K events. </p>

<p>What’s so special about Nike Frees? It’s not as if half the people I see wearing them do actual running. They’re running shoes, and unless you’re a real runner, they’re overkill. </p>

<p>I do like the aesthetics of the shoe and as a runner myself, I might get a pair.</p>

<p>I run and I’ve noticed this. I used to run in Nike shoes before i started cross country, and I realized how little support they had when I switched to Brooks. I couldn’t really wear Nike Frees to run if I wanted to. I can’t wear minimalist shoes.</p>
