Fresh Start

I need a fresh start, like no joke. Seniors/College Freshmen, please tell me that the period from 2nd semester junior year to 2nd semester senior year/freshman year flies by.

nope. Sorry but for me, the summer before senior year and first semester dragged on forever… but in some way, it does fly by since you’re stressing/working on college apps.
Just hang on!! this year (second semester junior and first semester senior) is like the most important one in high school.

I’m really bored right now. Nothing going on on CC.

Story of my life TCBH.

It’s weird that people go to sleep early.

^Insomniac much?

No, insomnia is when you try to go to sleep but can’t. Simply sitting at the computer all night makes one nocturnal, not an insomniac.

That being said, I do have insomnia.

Yeah, I’m an owl. It’s because my only MW class starts at 4 pm.

Yeah, an insomniac is when you aren’t getting enough sleep but still can’t fall asleep.

I get enough sleep, just not when normal people do.

TCBH, explain. I’ve always wondered what it’s like having insomnia. Do you just hate life and always feel miserable all the time?

It depends on how much time I budget for sleep. I mean it really just means that I might take 10 minutes to fall asleep or I might not remember sleeping at all. I guess on average you could probably take 30 min to an hour off the time between going to bed and getting out of bed. So if I go to bed at 1 and get out of bed at 10 I’m fine. If I go to bed at 2 and get out of bed at 8 I probably will fall asleep a couple times during class the next day.

Senior year is endless waiting. Whatever you do, don’t start the countdown to graduation early.

77 days to graduation I think! (maybe less?.. I don’t know… it said 78 days on the board the other day)

This year is going by soo fast.

Way too fast, but I can tell you that my Junior year dragged on as if it would never end

Yeah, I can’t believe it’s already mid February!

I’m almost two thirds of the way through the quarter. It’s been like a flash so far.

In regards to insomnia…Does a doctor tell you when you have this or can one determine if oneself has it???

I laid in my bed last night for 4hrs til’ i could finally go to sleep…It was horrrrrrriiible :/

Second semester senior year is. So. Boriiiiinnnnnnggggg!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I’ve never been diagnosed. I mean it’s not like a doctor can do that much. I don’t budget enough time for sleep to really use medication.

And the night before last I took about an hour and a half to go to sleep. On the plus side, I finally came to understand why the cardinality of the set of all integers is the same as the cardinality of the set of natural numbers.

^ It took you 1.5 hrs?!

I have 77 more school days left until I graduate. To be honest, I think that the first semester of senior year and the summer before it all went by pretty fast. (This is the time you’re concerned about, right).

To be honest though, second semester right now has me feeling like my life is on hold or something. Nothing very exciting happens, and for most of us the “reality” of graduation and college soon still hasn’t set in. We’re all just waiting for the end, as solemn as it may sound.

An estimate. I saw the time after about an hour, but it took a little while longer to fall asleep after that.
