Freshman year in high school.

My current classes are
-Adv. Band A
-Physics A+
-English 1A B+ (The teacher hates me alot. haha)
-Physical Education A
-Spanish 1 A-
-Pre-Calculus. A

And my GPA for the first semester was 3.83. ( I had 1 B+, 89.76%)
Even if I get all A’s next year, my GPA will only go
only up to 3.91.

Will this look bad on my college app?
&
Should I take AP Psychology exam to at least bring up my weighted GPA?

&& I’m planning to take AMC 10 soon and SAT Subject test Math 2 in May.

What classes did you get lower grades in? Your grades are fine NOW, but if you have trouble in certain classes that trend could continue in the future.

A 3.8-3.9 unweighted will not look bad on your college apps, because those are great GPAs to begin with, especially since you took pre-calc and physics as a freshman. But don’t expect your overall cumulative GPA at the beginning of senior year to be exactly the same as your freshman year GPA after the first semester.

Weighted GPA means nothing except in calculating class rank at your school. You should take the most challenging classes possible, but don’t worry about your weighted GPA as a number. Every school calculates it differently. My school doesn’t weight at all.
