From GT/UCLA to MIT

<p>I have been accepted to UCLA and GT for ME. I plan to apply for a masters degree at MIT, Harvard, Caltech…
GT ranks at #3 (USNEWS) in undergraduate ME (UCLA is lower on the list on USNews yet ranked the same as GT in other magazines such as Times Higher Education). Now the average GPA in GT is extremely low (in the 2.0’s and lower 3.0’s). I know that GPA is an important factor to get admitted to MIT (along with research with GT is well known for/Co-Op). </p>

<p>Bottom line, which school will offer me a more ideal opportunity to be admitted to the tier 1 school I intend to apply for graduate school?</p>

<p>They are both excellent and in the same class, so it’ll all depend on you. Choose the cheapest one and/or the one that’s the best fit. </p>
