Did this go to students or just parents? Because I as a student have not heard anything from them recently since the international program email weeks ago.

Question for everyone. If you get denied for fall, can you switch your application to be reconsidered for summer during the rolling admissions cycle.

Are you the senior with 60 applications out? I’m still shocked that your guidance counselor was on board with this. Why would you ask to switch to summer when you’ve already stated other schools are your top choice on multiple threads? Also, are your parents aware that you are constantly on this forum?

Just parents I think.

Yes, although it ended up being 55.

I’m chasing merit, and she fully understands my situation.

Because I want to keep my options open for merit. Any school in Florida might become a top choice if I get an instate tuition waiver.

Yep

Strangers think they fully understand everyone’s situation. It’s a bit strange.

Thanks. I will text my parents and see if either of them got it. I’m a bit suprised they have not sent out an email to students to announce the date and time.

Esp if it’s tomorrow. I think they have in the past. I am OOS but have 2 cousins in state. One at FSU ONe at UCF. Both very happy.

It is tomorrow for sure, they posted that on their socials. 4pm (eastern) timeframe or so seems most promising.

Is there anyone on here that was deferred early action? Has your portal changed at all?

My D24 got an email on 12/8 stating the day and time.

Interesting. I don’t think FSU sent out anything for RD unless I missed it.

Yes, FSU sent an email on 12/8 and my daughter is OOS for regular decision.

I see. It just went back and also did get it. I just forgot. Thanks

Yes, they did in fact post EA stats a year ago. I have the slides.

I bet acceptance rate will be 25-35% this year.

Based on these numbers for EA for 2023, the admittance rate for RD appears to be about 15%. That is really low.

It will be lower than 25%. This year’s EA admit rate is 38% as compared to last year’s 47% due to the increase in EA applications by 5,000. The number of RD applications will also be up, and if the number of admits remain the same as last year (17,200 or so), the overall admit rate will be below 25%.
