EA Honors decisions are up!! Rejected, which was expected but still a little disappointing combined with that and no merit. Also got rejected from App State Honors today so it was a double whammy kinda day!
Daughter got the Vires scholarship early action but denied from Honors today.

Florida public universities have a non resident cap of 10 percent. It is not per school but SUS wide which allows some school to have more OOS but even at UF and FSU instate are at least 80% which is still among the highest instate in the country
My daughter was deferred early action and then got in yesterday. She had orginally selected fall for her application. After getting deferred, she selected summer and fall. She was admitted yesterday for the summer term. Hope this helps someone next year going through the comments!

Can an accepted FSU student apply for housing between 2/21-2/25 (welcome window) without yet committing to the university?

Pretty sure. Most schools let you put down a housing deposit before committing.
