Thanks for the info! I’ll have to keep an eye on the mailbox!

Does anyone know what day decisions will be released for out of state?

February 15

February 15 it’s listed on their admissions website

Anyone else notice FSU has looked at their Linkedin Profile?

At the student’s Linked In or the Parents Linked In? If Parents, wow, but not a total surprise. The applications ask what parents do for a living to see if they can afford to pay.

My LinkedIn, as the parent, was looked at too.

Mine has not, but I’ve heard other schools have looked at some parents Linkedin profiles also…

I am the parent, so it was my Linked In account.

Phew, so glad I had just updated it with my most recent information and job title…not what I ever thought my account would be used for

Question: does anyone know how honors college decisions are announced? Is it via email or the portal, and do they only notify you if you get accepted?

LOL! Well, I just checked and they haven’t looked at mine. Not sure if that’s good or bad…

Anyone receive an invite to Study Abroad/Pathways webinar?

Yes, my son received it. But it’s not at a time that works for us on the west coast. He will be in school. I wish these east coast schools would have separate webinars for their west coast applicants…

We received it yes. Your mind immediately goes to ā€œthey are gently informing us that we will be admitted through an alternative pathway a la Northeasternā€, but who knows? Could be just an email blast to everyone.

Exactly. It’s what Texas A&M did.

Was it via email or the portal? If through email, I don’t think I saw anything. Wasn’t there a question, though, on the Common App about being interesting in the Pathway program?

email. Not sure about Common App?

I did not get it. Probably just means I got fully rejected.

I wouldn’t jump to that conclusion. Last year S23 didn’t get any such email and was still admitted to FSU to the College of Business with stats lower than that of the average FSU entering class.
