I havn’t visited the school. I was supposed to attend the DOTL on the 17th but had to cancel the trip bc something came up. Since may 1 is around the corner I would like to get some answers to some of my questions regarding UVA. btw I am going to visit next week.

How good is UVA about getting its students into med school. Is it a good school to go to for pre med? Internships, research etc…

How diverse is the school? I just always hear this come up and I am intrested in more diversity considering that my school in tx was not really diverse

How is Charlottesville? I am used to a city environment with lots of shops/malls, places to eat, clubs/music.

Finally as I already stated my finaid covers my full tution. UVA is very expensive and I want to be sure that I can expect around the same finaid package throughout my 4 years.

it’s not very diverse
but everyone is so nice
you could ask for an extention if you need more time to decide

seriously, everyone is SO friendly. but you need to go there to see it; i dont know where youre from/what kinds of schools youve visited and i think uva has a unique attitude to it

where are you from/ where else are you considering

if i had a free tuition to uva id be there in a heartbeat, but cornell finaid pwned UVA in my case, so i’m headed up north

thanks so much! i’m from tx. but i think your right about the whole extension thing. i am planning a visit and really think that i need t see it to make up my mind. i just didnt know we could do the whole extension thing. but i will email the office to ask for one. thanks again!
