Fundraising!! I need some help

So let’s see, me and some club members have been givenfundraising to do. Usually this isn’t too bad, however the teacher in charge did not choose the best idea, really. We have to sell tickets to a minor league baseball game.

I could try selling to my family, but that’s not an option because not only do I have barely any family in my area, my family takes no interest in baseball, especially minor league baseball.

I could try selling around the block, but people hate that to begin with and not a lot of people take interest in minor league baseball.

I WOULD go to the ballpark and sell, but I can’t fit it into my schedule (Trust me I can’t, I’ll just leave it at that).

I’m not sure exactly what the best way to go about this is, could anyone please help?

Thanks

Hmmm…Are the tickets affordable? Does your area/town have a little league program? If so, maybe you could reach out to whoever is in charge of it (in my neighborhood the league has a Board of Directors) and see if they would let you promote the tickets to families in the league…coaches could organize team “field trips” to games for fun and as a team-building exercise. In turn, you could promote the league in some free advertising in school newsletters/yearbooks etc.

They are affordable, costing $10 per ticket.

That seems reasonable. Do up a flyer…cute graphics…info on who is benefitting…go to some little league games and hand it out.

I like that idea, I’ll definitely consider it.
