<p>im in washington state and i got it saturday, i just wasnt home then. im native american and i submitted my documents at different times. the last thing i sent in was my admissions letter which i faxed on april 1st.</p>

<p>I still have not received anything after submitting and getting confirmed about a month ago. I’m under APIASF. I’m getting quite annoyed at the process. They should be able to tell you over the phone if you get it or not instead of telling you to wait for the mail that you absolutely have no idea when it’s coming or if the mail is lost.</p>

<p>Sadly, Yes. They do. It has been my experience for the past four years that the later you hear from the Gates, the dire it gets. I have not yet met a person who won the Gates scholarship who heard later then those who lost. If you know someone in your school or state receiving the scholarship and you still haven’t heard anything after a week, it’s not good.</p>
<p>Reddune, I was hoping that that’s not the case. Anyway, now I know for a fact that I shouldn’t be anticipating anything.</p>
