for those still waiitng, i called ms april rongero today and she said the decisions were made the 15th and are being sent out at the ned of this week, (so some havent been sent yet)

<p>I received my notification today. The letter was dated April 15th. I wasn’t selected as a scholar. There were 1800 finalists this year. Somehow it seems like I’m the only one who was not selected.</p>

<p>well i went to visit UCLA and when i came back no big packets, and saw the gates letter, a single simple envelope and a rejection was within, well i can relax now since the wait was driving me crazy</p>

well at least I made friends with the Financial Aid person, he remembered that I had called him earlier this week, and that he saw me last week at the event in oakland. He agreed to call me and help me with my financing, its good to network</p>
