<p>I had understood that the Gates Scholarship will also pay for the loans offered by the college, correct me if I’m wrong. But that’s what my counselor told me</p>
<p>but its up to what, a total of 20k, right? so once we use that all up, then thats it, correct?</p>
<p>Im sorry this is off subject, but does any one know for sure if the folks at gates send notification of a rejection from the finalist round? Or do they just keep you hanging ? Keeping you forever wondering what happened to your acceptance/rejection letter. Its April and I have not heard one word from the Gates and I did everything in line with the rules.</p>

I’ve already made my choice in college (Columbia - I did Early Decision back in December), and I am a finalist. I called in today to verify about my documents, and the recording said they had four. Can anyone please verify if this is the correct number they should have?</p>

<p>I’m concerned because I haven’t recieved mine, and I was asked to obtain it and submit it to the APIASF. I have no idea what to think!</p>
<p>I haven’t gotten that from APIASF and I’m a finalist, does that mean I don’t get the scholarship?

<p>Yes, last year was snail mail. It is a VERY large package, no doubt about what it is when you see it!</p>
