<p>Has anyone else heard about finalists? I know they listed the results for the specific CA one, but none that I could find for the national one…</p>

<p>The Reagan Foundation sent out their letters to the winners today. My friends son was a winner. They chose 22 students to receive the award out of a pool of 5300 candidates.</p>

<p>In its first year, the response to the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program has been overwhelming. Tens of thousands of students started the application process and more than 5,300 candidates submitted applications for consideration.</p>

<p>After a thoughtful selection process, we have chosen 22 students to receive a 2011 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship. While your application was carefully considered, you were not selected to receive an award. </p>

<p>In recognition of your effort and achievements, we invite you to visit, free of charge, the newly renovated Reagan Library if you plan to be in the Simi Valley, California, area. Simply print this entire e-mail and coupon below for a one-time visit anytime in the next 12 months. We also encourage you to stay engaged with the programs of The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation online and on Facebook. Join the discussion on Facebook by telling us where you are going to college and perhaps connecting with other applicants bound for your campus. <p>2011-2012 GE Reagan Scholarship opened today. The deadline is February 17, 2012. This scholarship is worth $40,000 and should be listed among the other notables like Coca-Cola, Toyota and Gates.</p>
