<p>So I’m pretty sure I haven’t gotten my official GW id, because the admissions director misunderstood the fact that my name I am always called isn’t my legal name. We exchanged emails yesterday and sorted it out but I still don’t have my id. So…</p>

the email doesnt come from GW Undergraduate Admissions (the email most of GWs email comes from). it comes from Undergraduate Admissions. might wanna recheck ur inbox. :)</p>
<p>That doesn’t help. I interviewed with the regional admissions director, and he thought that my nickname (jack) was my legal name, but it’s not (John is). So he had 2 files for two “versions” of me if you will. He gave me an Id but said it might be wrong. Hasn’t emailed back in two days so I’m starting to get worried</p>
<p>I haven’t found my GW ID… I applied ED2 I am so worried… This is all I will be thinking about for the next month until my decision comes out.</p>

<p>I just got denied from my #1 school and now GW is my #1… I assume there is no emailing/calling to change my application to ED II?</p>

<p>I was admitted to GWU '17 for PoliSci as my major (3.5UW, 2050SAT) and cannot stress enough that you all made the second best decisions of your life (ED1 would have been the best). I cannot single out a day in my life that wasn’t more joyous than the day that I was admitted to GWU.
