George Washington University Early Decision 2 Thread

Wait, how do you guys know that it’s February 6th at 6pm? Did we get an email?

I’ll venture a guess and say some super sleuthing/emailing GW

Yes it is that date. How many applicants do you think ED2 got?!

Sent from my iPhone

I heard there were around 800 ED2 applicants

37 percent acceptance rate- which means slightly less than 300 acceptances… and about 500 rejections… AHHHHHH… I’m up at 3AM- can wednesday come any faster?

Well when you put it that way, it seems much worse :frowning:
What are y’all’s second choices? (although I’m sure we won’t need them :))

Mine is NYU, I think. Or maybe American- whichever offers more financial aid

How does everyone know it’s Feb 6?

13all94 said her CC was told by the dean of admissions that was the date. I’m sure we’ll get an email the 4th or the 5th notifying us anyway. They wouldn’t just spring an response date on us.

@ treschic- I’m a guy. And I agree with you email should be coming soon!!!

4 days left!!!

Wait, do decisions come out at 6 PM Eastern time? If so, that’s 5 PM my time!

havent received my ID yet! Should I be worried?

jetlife293, I would definitely email someone from the admissions office and ask about it. You should have gotten it by now. They will probably reply with your ID within the next dayu or two. Also, I would check your Spam inbox to make sure that the email didn’t end up there.

Yes email them about the Id…, when are we getting the reminder email?!! These next 3 days are going to be too long

Just wanted to check and find out where exactly we will be receiving the good (or bad) news! Using our IDs? Via email? If anyone knows, please post! Thanks!

You’ll find out on the gwapplication website. You just log in with your email and password and you can check your application status. That’s where it’ll be posted from my understanding

guys… just found out from CC that there were more than 800 early applicants, but less than 950… (no specific number), but a lot less than EDI… however we were more academically qualified… that is all

RAISE HIGH! COLONIALS

The ED 2 applicants are more academically qualified? Well that doesn’t make me feel good

Me neither :(
