For those who were accepted and haven’t received finaid, was it because they needed you to confirm your SSN? They said my FAFSA was incomplete solely because I needed to confirm my SSN when no other school did that. I have to know about FA before June 1st otherwise I have to pay enrollment at BU. I wish they would’ve told me they just needed that small detail sooner! The wait is so stressful

I would probably recommend to call them and explain your situation and try to get an estimate. Their financial / admissions dept. have been pretty great via phone/emails for me at least for the past month or two while I was awaiting acceptance…
@RBevan I’ve decided not to wait any longer for GW. The way they have handled everything throughout this process has really turned me off. The long wait, confirming receipt of documents then telling me they don’t have them, unanswered emails, etc. I hope you get your answer soon. I agree 100%. I emailed about financial aid weeks ago and got no response. I had to put a deposit down for UVA because GW took ages to release decisions. GW was my number one because I’m a pol sci major but it’s becoming harder to turn down UVA in-state tuition while GW outrights ignores me.

GW is still saying they haven’t received my FAFSA when FAFSA says it was received in January. Does anyone know what I should do? I need my FA by Monday
I had the same issue. When I emailed them they said they I needed to confirm my SSN and sent this link go.gwu.edu/ssn i added my SSN about two weeks ago and my FAFSA was updated today. They can’t link you FAFSA to your application without the SSN.
@izrose Hey make sure on FAFSA that it was sent to the right school. If it was then download your SAR and email GW financial aid and CC GW docs. GW financial and GW docs are different one you submit documents to while the other is for assistance.

Sorry to tell you this but based on the last two years threads, the second wave will come out 2-3 weeks after the first one… so i recommend you to forget about GW for a moment.
Oh no ? I have to commit to my second choice by June 1st. Maybe I will email them and ask if a second wave will be coming before Monday…
I think juniors are required to live on campus which sucks bc it’s so expensive
