The wait list letter said that even though admitted students have until June 15th to confirm their enrollment for the fall, wait listed students won’t know of their decisions until early July. Assuming that I could obtain a yes or no answer as to whether the wait list will even be used after the 15th, would admissions ever divulge that information? I’m trying to figure out my living arrangements for next year which makes this process that much tougher… and are there separate wait lists for each school, or is there just one large wait list?
Anyone hear back for the wait list?
I am an international student. I got accepted to Georgetown College on June 28th.from the wait list. I got a call from an admission officer on Friday asking if I was still interested and I answered yes and then I got email acceptance letter on Monday. I think there is a possibility that you could be admitted if they call you comfirming your interest.
I called the admission office the day before yesterday and a man said all the admission officers were on a meeting and I thought the decisions were being made. So just relax. They are probably making decisions. I know I said these words because I got admitted but I am doing my best providing necessary information for you to get a sense of what is happening.
For those who are interested in statistics, I took the SAT two years ago and I got 600 on CR, 750 on MA, and 800 on WR. I am a sophomore transfer and I have 3.5 GPA. I think all you need to do is to be yourself. Countless comparisons makes no sense in selecting who will be admitted because everyone is different in background. My GPA and CR are not pretty good.

Got a call from admissions this morning. They said I was selected to be considered for the extended waitlist or for an acceptance. They wanted to see if I was still interested as they were having a final meeting to decide whether I would be accepted or placed on the extended waitlist. They said they’re going to call me back later today.
Just got a call - accepted to the College.
