Has anyone that was admitted EA received anything other than the acceptance letter and papers that came with that? We thought that it said they would get something (like about accepted students weekend, etc.) early January, but have not received anything yet.
Help!! anyone know if they’ll take my Jan subject test??
They should…have it automatically sent to them. I think they will get it a day before you if you do it that way.
is NHS more based on fit?? as opposed to the “most competitive” which I’m assuming is true for the college. obviously you have to be extremely competitive for NHS but I heard fit is a large factor?
If you want to send supplementary materials you can probably just send it in snail mail.
@yonceonhismouth what is snail mail?
Regular mail…like through the post office.
Did anybody else mail the admissions office an arts supplement on a C.D.? I mailed mine the first week of January. Should I expect to get some kind of confirmation from them that they received it?
I called Georgetown today they said to have the scores sent directly to the school and sent a screenshot of my score report to my admissions rep as a placeholder until they get it… in case anyone else has the same problem
@bfc2017 I mailed mine in just a little bit earlier than you, and I only can assume they received it because I had UPS tracking number on it. Otherwise, I don’t think they give confirmation.

^ Unlikely that GU will accept you based on stats alone. I assume that GU is your reach school and that you have also applied to some match and safety schools too?
Hey, I’m from England but I’m applying to Georgetown.
Obviously high school is different here so the stats don’t quite translate but I’m applying to the SFS to major in International Politics.
I only took my SAT last week so idk the score yet, but in my AS results I got AAA and this year I’m predicted an AAA, so my gpa is 4.0.
I had a really good interview in October, and I’m a white female applying for financial aid.
Hello! I posted in the EA results thread as well but if anyone has any answers here, that would be fantastic. Anyway, does Georgetown require/appreciate a letter of continued interest for those of us who were deferred EA? Would writing one have any say in my application process? If I recall correctly, in my deferral letter it stated that no further action was needed to be considered for Regular Decision and that they would mail us on April 1st. Still wondering if that holds true.
Hi! I applied RD to Georgetown and live in Southern California. I understand interviews are required, but I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet. Has anyone else been? I heard if you live in an area without an alumni it might be difficult to get an interview, but generally in Southern California living close to a couple major cities there’s a good representation of alumni. Should I contact them? Wait longer?
@socalsam Did you at least get the automated email from aapinterview@georgetown.edu? (It might be in spam!)
I think GU interviews everybody. I would call the Admissions Office if the email is not in your spam trap.
@mintchipmagic I just checked my junk folder and regular emails, the only emailed I recently received from Georgetown was the application confirmation on Dec. 29th when I submitted my app.
@londondad Do they interview all applicants or just those applying EA. I’ve checked my span and inbox and found no notice for an interview. Am in S.W. Florida.
@socalsam I would call admissions, in that case! The next step should have been the automated email, but if you didn’t get that, I would follow up.
