The acceptance letter says financial aid awards will be sent out today. Not sure exactly how though (email/update on portal). Has anyone received theirs yet?
Quick question regarding majors. I am admitted to Georgtown college and the Biology Premedical program. If I wanted to switch to Economics major and CS minor, will that be difficult? And must I do it now or after I enroll?
Financial aid is out. Better than I expected, personally.

@collgedreamng121 and @hrrbgirl13 It’s not on the app portal. You have to login in with the Net Id instructions provided on the acceptance letter.
Yes I checked the My Access for Georgetown and still nothing, very confused. I submitted everything on time I believe.

For the people that got the award notification already, did you get an email with like instructions on finding it through myAccess? I reset my password (via steps on acceptance letter) and was able to log into myaccess just by googling it but never specific instructions from Georgetown themselves.

How is it possible that FAFSA says “your EFC is X” and the college says you have to pay X + 10k + subsidized loan ?
I am really not made of gold. Not the first college that is trying to screw us this year.

@NascarFedex they have very low endowment per student (~$112,000) relative to most other colleges in their bracket. I’ve got divorced parents and my costs will be 2X my EFC if I end up attending.
So what is the point of FAFSA? I thought that EFC is the max I would have to pay, no matter what my tax returns say.
I have another kid in college now and I feel like I am being robbed.

Same and it’s really stressing me out. If I don’t get anything by the end of today I’ll probably contact the financial aid office or whoever to try and figure it out. Please let me know if you get anything
