um, seems like all the acceptances went out today.

i am sure i got rejected… :'(

still, congratulations to all of you!!

it’s an achievement to be VERY proud of!!!

cheers

I’ve not gotten anything yet so probably rejected. Congratulations to all of you who got in!! Enjoy your stay at Georgetown! It will be a memorable experience I am sure.

Georgetown does admissions differently, and I’m not going to say how. I strongly doubt all the acceptances went out today. A substantial sum did, but that’s because of the way the admissions process is done. If you look across the stats of those admitted so far, you’ll notice something in common-and yes, that’s a hint.

um, some of them are impressive at all (no offense to the guy from tufts), while some are.

that isn’t any sign of how admissions reached these decisions.

Looks like they all have great high school/SAT stats, along with stellar college grades.

correction:

are NOT*

dare i say they are all from new england or maryland? i hate to guess but im clueless as to any common link

I have to second soze21. Or maybe it’s region? Seems as tough they are all from the Mid-Atlantic/ Northeast, which concerns me because I’m from MD – the same school as EICatMC :frowning: I really hope it’s the first guess.
I feel like I’m gonna be rejected!
flowerhead, do you know -and if you can tell- if they review international applications later?

you’re international too? if you don’t mind answering, which college are you in?

Lets hope it’s not region. That wouldn’t bode well for me.

I guess if there was a similarity, then those that got accepted today have all got really high SAT scores and HS GPA.

@ Hookedongtown, yeah unfortunately I am still in the process of getting my residency but because of the immigration system it’s taking forever so I have to apply as an international.
I’m at a community college in MD, the same one as the one that the first guy who got accepted. It’s literally thirty minutes from Georgetown, and ever since I moved here I liked the school. My SAT/ACT scores out of HS were not that great, so I went to CC and hope/still hoping to transfer.
I would absolutely love to go to Georgetown!

Yeah, Georgetown is everything for me too. I’ll be absolutely devastated if I am not there this fall!!! I love Georgetown :(

I’m form North Carolina and was accepted if that adds anything to ya’lls region theory… Good luck everyone!
